Normally, we have the tendency of turning obstacles into harmful forces bigger than they ever will be. They themselves probably don't amount to much, but we make them so big that we are harmed. So we have to take a brave stand, defying obstacles and intrusions. When you can manifest courageous and fearless outlook of mind, no circumstances can cause damaging or serious harm. On a relative level, there may be some adverse circumstance, or negative force of some kind. Yet, it is quite certain that the negative situation on its own is not as serious or as intrusive as one has made it. In this way, from the very beginning, one has to take a stand of courageousness and fearlessness against adversity.  

一般而言，我们倾向于将障碍变成较障碍本身更有害的力量；障碍本身可能并没有如此有害，但我们使障碍变得更具有伤害性而导致自己受到伤害。所以我们应该采取勇敢的立场，使障碍不至于造成更进一步伤害。

当我们勇敢无惧时，没有任何一种状况能产生真正的伤害。虽然就相对而言确实有些负面的情况，但是负面情况本身并没有如我们所想的具有如此严重的伤害性。因此我们必须在逆境来临时就采取勇敢无畏的态度。
